Kindle 2: Will we be able to buy Kindle 2 before Christmas?

Hi everybody.

Have you heard the latest news already?

After a lot of talk, it seems the Amazon Kindle 2 is on its way. It looks a little thinner, the buttons are different, the screen seems a little...

Well, I guess you'd better see it by yourself. So, go to this new press release by my publishing company that specializes on controversial Kindle reviews, the latest news on amazon kindle 1 and 2 and where to buy amazon kindle 2 for sale cheap.

It definitely seems the new kindle's on it way this time. Will it arrive by christmas 2008?. I don't know. But, what if...?

Then again if you don't want to wait and have your Kindle at home for Christmas at the best price buy a used Kindle 2 at Amazon now. Just look for "used" or "refurbished" Kindles at the top of the page, and choose "global wireless model" if you're not from the US.

Good luck and, in case you don't want to wait, hope the kindle you buy - whatever version it may be - suits your needs.

Amazon Kindle is Oprah's "gadget of the month". Amazon Kendal fever seems to be all around these days

Hey all!

Great news for all Amazon Kendal lovers and Amazon Kindle customers wannabes. The Amazon Kindle e-reader seems to be all over the news lately, particularly since it's been chosen as Oprah's product of choice for this month.

Deserved? You bet.

Surprising? YES. Even though the amazon Kindle wireless book reader is a great gadget and the best of its kind, it was still behind other electronic products such as the iPhone when it comes to popularity. Oprah can spot a winner when she sees one obviously.

AmazonKindle customer review for those who want to buy amazon kindle: Minor improvements needed

By David Robinson (meredith, nh usa)

For the most part, the product is excellent--i would suggest a major improvement in the handling of the AmazonKindle--it is difficult to hold it without proceeding to the next page or going back to the prior page due to the position & size of the tabs. It would be more user friendly to have either small "wing type handles" pull out from under the kindle to allow holding it away from the page advance/retreat tabs or to have the tabs smaller to allow for holding the frame of the kindle and not involve one of the tabs.

Another improvement would be to either have a similar availablity and pricing for audio books as you do for written material. Short of that, if that is not an option, allow for audio books to be downloaded regardless of the source. It would seem to me that written books would be the preference in most cases but a reasonably priced or more broadly accessible audio book (for a long plane ride for example when it is more pleasant to listen with noise deadening earphones than trying to read for long periods). The present audio book option does not seem economically reasonable.

Yet another AmazonKindle Review and where to buy Amazon Kindle: Kindle # 1 is great.

By Connie Kalberq (Missoula, MT)

AmazonKindle : Amazon's New Wireless Reading Device :

This is such a great product. The first generation needs a little tweeking, but I am hooked. I live in Montana which does not have Wispernet wireless service yet - but even so, this makes accessing and reading books even more pleasurable.

The Mighty Brite XtraFlex2 light I purchased with the product works great with the Kindle cover, but the next generation really needs to have a light built in which also goes to sleep when the AmazonKindle does. The pages are not backlit which allows clear reading, even in sunshine. I am really looking forward to taking this on vacation with my favorite novels all in one device. Being able to purchase currently released novels for almost the price of paperbacks is great - and I don't have to wait. I love this thing.
