Kindle DX is now international

Hi, Amazon Kindle fans.

I have some news for you regarding your favorite reader: the Kindle.

The latest version of the Kindle wireless reading device (Kindle DX) is now available internationally. In fact, it already was. News is that now it has international wireless capabilities, which puts it on the same page than its brother, Kindle 2. Now, you can access Amazon's huge collection of e-books, newspapers, blogs and more through whispernet from over 100 countries around the world.

This is great news and I can only wonder what awaits us in future releases of the Amazon Kindle reader.

Why It's a Smart Choice to Buy Kindle DX

Since the new Amazon Kindle reader arrived, there has been a lot of chatter about wether it was wise to buy Kindle DX or just go for a Kindle 2. Now, while this decision ultimately depends on the needs of each of us, I'd like to make a short review and tell you why I personally believe Kindle dx is probably the best choice when it comes to buying a reading device.

Let's start with size and weight: The new 9.7'' Kindle DX's screen is almost as big as the Kindle 2nd generation. While this feature accounts for a better readability, it does end up making the Kindle dx about twice as heavy as the earlier version, and not adviceable to carry with only one hand. However, the latest Kindle is extremely thin and its geeneral weight is not really that much of an issue for most of us. Who wins? Once again, your choice. I personally don't care it being a bit heavier, I like my Amazon Kindle dx.

Improvements and other features:

- The new Kindle DX has built in PDF support, which makes it both easy and convenient to work with this popular format.

- Much bigger screen

- Better text readability. Better contrast text/background.

- Landscape mode that provides a mild zoom. Good for viewing large pictures and reading some small text in pdf.

- Increased storage capacity: Almost 3,500 books against 1,500 aprox for the Kindle 2.

- Very easy to navigate. due t its five-way controller.

- Longer battery life

Now is this the perfect Kindle for you ? If you don't matter carrying around a wireless reading device that's a little bit heavier and bigger ( not much ), then yes, it is.

Does it justify the price gap? In my humble opinion, yes, it does, and very much so. Then again, all of these answers are and should be individual. In any case, don't forget to check the new Amazon Kindle DX. You won't regret it.

Kindle 2: Will we be able to buy Kindle 2 before Christmas?

Hi everybody.

Have you heard the latest news already?

After a lot of talk, it seems the Amazon Kindle 2 is on its way. It looks a little thinner, the buttons are different, the screen seems a little...

Well, I guess you'd better see it by yourself. So, go to this new press release by my publishing company that specializes on controversial Kindle reviews, the latest news on amazon kindle 1 and 2 and where to buy amazon kindle 2 for sale cheap.

It definitely seems the new kindle's on it way this time. Will it arrive by christmas 2008?. I don't know. But, what if...?

Then again if you don't want to wait and have your Kindle at home for Christmas at the best price buy a used Kindle 2 at Amazon now. Just look for "used" or "refurbished" Kindles at the top of the page, and choose "global wireless model" if you're not from the US.

Good luck and, in case you don't want to wait, hope the kindle you buy - whatever version it may be - suits your needs.

Great news for all Amazon Kendal lovers and Amazon Kindle customers wannabes. The Amazon Kindle e-reader seems to be all over the news lately, particularly since it's been chosen as Oprah's product of choice for this month.

Deserved? You bet.

Surprising? YES. Even though the amazon Kindle wireless book reader is a great gadget and the best of its kind, it was still behind other electronic products such as the iPhone when it comes to popularity. Oprah can spot a winner when she sees one obviously.
